July 19, 2012 (VC Star Obituary Guestbook) Many years ago I served on a jury in Judge Beach's courtroom. Unlike my other jury services, I will never forget how kind and considerate Judge Beach was to the jury. He appreciated the fact that we were somewhat nervous and perhaps intimidated by the whole process and went out of his way to make it as comfortable as possible, never losing his professionalism in the process. Although I didn't know Judge Beach as a friend, there is no doubt in my mind he would have made a wonderful friend. Such men are rare and I am honored to have spent a few days in his company.
